Pay Weekly Flooring, Answered
My Dream Flooring supplies carpet, laminate and vinyl on flexible pay weekly and pay monthly plans, with no credit checks and no external credit agencies. Plans start from around £10 a week. Here's what makes us different:
- No credit checks - affordability conversation only, no credit searches
- 10mm luxury underlay as standard - thicker than the 8mm most companies fit
- Free grippers and door bars included with every fitting
- Upfront pricing - including fitting costs, told to you at your first appointment
- Rated Excellent on Trustpilot by real customers
Three things set us apart. We fit 10mm luxury underlay as standard rather than the 8mm industry norm, at no extra cost. We tell you the full price including fitting at your first appointment, so nothing gets added later. And our credit is handled entirely in-house, with no external credit agencies involved.
We're rated Excellent on Trustpilot by real, verified customers, with reviews covering the full journey from home appointment through to finished fitting. Customers consistently mention our fitters' professionalism, tidy work, and clear communication throughout.
Yes. Most pay weekly flooring companies fit 8mm underlay as standard. We fit 10mm luxury underlay, which is warmer underfoot, softer to walk on, quieter between rooms, and helps your carpet last longer by absorbing more daily wear.
When a company advertises "free fitting", the cost is usually built into your weekly or monthly payments rather than removed entirely. We take a different approach: we tell you the fitting cost separately and upfront at your first appointment, so you can see exactly what you're paying for and choose when it suits your finances.
A rep visits your home to measure up, bring samples, and talk through your budget and payment options. There's no pressure to decide on the day, it's simply a chance to see flooring in your own space before making any decision.
No. Our reps are there to measure accurately, show you samples in your own light, and answer questions, not to push you into signing anything before you're ready.
No. If you're not sure yet, your rep will bring a full range of samples and talk through the pros and cons of carpet, laminate, and vinyl to help you decide.
Two reasons. Colours look completely different under showroom lighting compared to your own home, so seeing samples against your actual walls and furniture leads to better decisions. It also keeps our costs down, which means better value flooring for you.
We cover large parts of England and Scotland through our network of local reps and fitters. Get in touch with your postcode and we'll confirm whether we cover your area.
No. We don't use external credit checks or credit reference agencies. Instead, we have a simple, honest conversation about affordability, so your credit history doesn't affect your eligibility.
Yes. Because we don't run credit checks, a poor credit score or past rejections elsewhere won't stop you. What matters is whether the weekly or monthly payments are genuinely affordable for you, which we work out together at your appointment.
Yes. Being on benefits doesn't disqualify you, since our affordability check is about whether the payments fit your circumstances, not what your income source is. It's also worth checking whether your local council's Household Support Fund or a Budgeting Advance could help before committing to any plan.
No. Since we don't use external credit checks, there's no credit search recorded against you in the way a traditional loan or credit card application would show.
No. Our credit is handled entirely in-house, so there's no third-party lender or credit agency involved in your plan at any stage.
Credit amounts are agreed individually based on an affordability conversation at your appointment, giving you the flexibility to cover more than just one room where it's right for your circumstances.
Plans start from around £10 a week. The exact amount depends on the flooring you choose and the size of the rooms, and your rep will give you a clear, personalised figure at your home appointment before you commit to anything.
Yes. We offer both pay weekly and pay monthly options, so you can choose whichever fits your own budgeting rhythm best.
No. We're upfront about the full cost, including fitting, from your very first appointment, so there's nothing added on later that you weren't told about from the start.
Fitting isn't included in the base flooring cost, but we tell you the fitting cost clearly at your first appointment, and you choose when it's convenient to have it done based on your own finances.
Yes, there's a deposit at your home appointment which comes off your overall plan balance rather than being an additional charge. Your rep will explain the exact amount for your chosen flooring before you agree to anything.
Most customers get their fitting date confirmed within 2 days of their first payment. Fitting itself typically takes place 14 to 21 days after that, once your 20% deposit has been paid, though exact timing depends on your area and fitter availability.
Yes. Once you know the fitting cost, you choose the timing that suits your finances and schedule, rather than being locked into a date that doesn't work for you.
Sometimes. Carpet almost always needs the old floor removed first, since old underlay flattens over time and won't support new carpet properly. Laminate and vinyl can occasionally go over a suitable existing hard floor if it's flat, dry, and structurally sound. Your fitter will assess this properly before the day.
Yes, the room needs to be cleared before we can start work. If there's anything you're unable to move yourself, just let us know at your appointment so we can look at recommendations or special arrangements to help get you fitted as soon as possible.
Yes. Clearing up properly is part of the job, and it's something our customers regularly mention in their reviews. Offcuts and waste are bagged and taken away, leaving your room ready to use.
We offer carpet, laminate, and vinyl, with samples brought directly to your home so you can see how each one actually looks in your own space and lighting.
We use 10mm luxury underlay, thicker than the 8mm industry standard most companies fit. It's warmer underfoot, softer to walk on, quieter between rooms, and helps your carpet last longer.
Yes, grippers and door bars are included as standard with your fitting, so there's nothing extra to source or pay for separately.
Vinyl is usually the most practical choice for homes with pets or young children, since it's waterproof, easy to clean, and handles claws and spills well. Laminate is a good middle ground, while carpet works well in bedrooms and living rooms where comfort matters more than spill resistance.
Yes. Many customers do multiple rooms on a single plan, and your rep will work out what's affordable for you across however many rooms you'd like doing.
