My Dream Flooring

Frequently Asked Questions…

How does it work?

It’s really easy. At My Dream Flooring, there is no credit limit! You can get as much flooring as you need for your home. If your order exceeds £500, we will require a larger deposit to ensure everything runs smoothly, but there’s no cap on the amount of flooring you can purchase.

How does it work?

  1. Booking an Appointment: To book your appointment, we’ll need the following details:

    • Full Name
    • First Line of Address
    • Postcode
    • Mobile Number
    • Email Address
    • Type of Flooring
  2. Measurement Appointment: A member from the office, or your local rep, will contact you to arrange a date for measurements. Some reps manage their own diaries, while the office manages others. If you’re unsure, just let us know, and we’ll confirm whether we can assist with booking or if you’ll need to contact the rep directly to schedule.

  3. Fitting Timeline: The average wait time for fitting is around 4 weeks. During this time, we expect you to make your weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments. We do not conduct credit checks or charge interest; the payments help ensure that you’re committed to your plan.

  4. Fitting Process:

    • Once your fitting date is confirmed (approximately 1-2 working days after your measurement appointment), the fitter will contact you on the day of fitting with an estimated time, based on their schedule.
    • After the flooring is installed, you will pay the fitter directly the fitting fee that was provided to you during your measurement appointment. All details will be outlined in your contract.
    • If you need to rebook your fitting appointment, the quickest way to resolve this is by calling our office. If there are any issues on our end, we will contact you to reschedule for a convenient day.

Do I pay before the flooring is delivered?
Once you have decided which item of flooring you would like and the area has been measured a deposit of £40.00 will be taken and a minimum of 1p via card payment. The Sales Representative will go through the agreement with you and set up your payment method. Before the flooring is fitted we will require a good payment history over mutiple payments. This is to establish that all the details are correct and you are capable of making recurring payments.
When do I receive a fitting date?
We aim to send you a fitting date via ‘TEXT’ within 2 working days of your agreement being set up. You will need to accept this fitting date. Please note that missed payments may mean that your fitting date is delayed.
Who do I pay to fit the carpet?
The fitting fee is paid directly to the fitter on the day of fitting.
Do you take up & remove the old flooring?
We do not take up the old flooring. It is down to you to take up all the old flooring and dispose of the items.
Do you clear the room of furniture?
We do not clear the room of furniture. The room must be emptied prior to the fitter arriving. If, however, there are large items such as sofas that can not be removed. The fitter will work around this. However, they may ask you for help to move it from one end of the room to the other.
Will we receive a time slot?
It is an all day appointment. However, the fitter will call you 30 mins before his arrival. Some fitters may call plan their route the day before and give you a call with an approximate eta. This is down to individual fitters and is not the responsibility of the office or the Sales Representative.
What if we are not happy with the fitting quality of the product?
We must be notified immediately. Where ever possible we will require pictures of the problem.
